SCHOOL

I spent twelve of my formative years at Guwahati Public School, and some of my best memories are associated with this place. The school, amongst the best in Guwahati, is situated in its outskirts, Panjabari. I joined it in 1984 as a class I student when it was at Bamunimaidan in a rented compound. It moved to its current location in 1992. The school completed its Silver Jubilee in 2007 and I am proud to be amongst its alumni.

COLLEGE
I did my graduate studies at Lalit Chandra Bharali College, and joined it in 1996. This is the place where I had my first brush with computers. Since then, my love affair with the machine has continued. Situated in the lap of the hills where the Kamakhya Temples are located, the college today is a name to reckon with. Its innovation and far-sightedness is propelling it to dizzy heights.

UNIVERSITY

I did my post graduate studies at Tezpur University, and without doubt, has been my most rewarding experience. A product of the Assam Accord, this university has immense potential to be in the big league. Situated in the suburbs of the city of eternal romance, Tezpur amid sylvan surroundings, it was a real pleasure spending three and a half years out there, beginning mid 1999. The University gave ample opportunities to me to develop my leadership and administrative skills. It was a real experience being the Prefect of my hostel - Brahmaputra Chatra Niwas as well as a member of the Students' Council. I went on to manage the Mess of my Hostel for a record nine terms.

INSTITUTE
I did a Faculty Development Programme at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA). My three and a half months stay at this world class institute and becoming its alumni has been a high point of my career.
